A powerful travel press release is the one that includes call to action in it. This post explains 5 methods of including call to action at your online press release to urge your enthusiastic readers to take the next steps. This will increase your conversion rate and your audience will be involved more quickly.

It’s good that you publish an online travel press release to spread the word about the latest developments in your business, but it’s not enough if you don’t include a call to action in it. It’s a fact that press releases are great means of promoting your businesses. However, there are several factors involved in the writing of such news releases that you have to incorporate in your copy to make sure you achieve the desired results. Call to action is one method:

Call to Action at Your Travel Press Release

Include a Call to Action at Your Travel Press ReleaseYour news release should certainly have a main topic, a main story. You develop it explaining who, what, where, when, and why. So, your readers, who have found it interesting, should now be redirected to the next step to take action. Have you invited them to do so? How?

Tip # 1: Provide a Link to Your Landing Page

Before you start writing your press release, make sure you’ve created the required content at your site arranging for your potential clients to take action when they land at that page. Make it as easy as possible so that your readers are not confused. Then, include the call to action at your press release and insert a link to your landing page, where the practical step will be taken place.

Tip # 2: Provide a Name & Invite to Contact Him/Her

Before writing your travel press release and while arranging for the new service (the topic of your release), you should have assigned a person or two in charge of helping your inquirers obtain the results they are looking for. They are going to be the contact persons you will introduce at your news piece. However, it’s not enough to only mention their names at your copy. Make sure you invite people at your content to contact the person(s) you’ve mentioned to ask for the service you have offered. Remember to provide means of contacting them – phone number, email address, etc.

Tip # 3: Provide an Address to Go to

Sometimes, you may require your potential clients to go to a certain address and take the required step so that  they can get what they want. Although some travel press release distribution services may ask you for an address, it will be much better to include the address and the required steps within your copy to emphasize on where they are required to go. Besides, this could be an address different from the general address you provide at your PR contact information. So, make sure you explicitly mention the address and invite people to go there and do what you want them to do.

Tip # 4: Provide a Form to Be Completed

You may need some information about the enthusiastic inquirers who would give positive answer to your invitation. In such cases, you may want to provide a link to a page at your site so that they can register, send an inquiry, etc. You should have already done it and included such call to action at your travel press release. Now you can provide a link to your landing page, at your site, where the form is.

Tip # 5: Provide a Coupon for Discount

Sometimes, you could provide a discount coupon to persuade your potential clients to take action and apply for your service, buy your product, etc. The arrangement should have all been taken care of before the submission of your travel press release to the travel news distribution site. Once the interested readers of your news story click on your link within your copy, they will be taken to a page inside your site or another site where they can apply using that discount coupon.

What Other Methods Do You Suggest?

You could be quite creative in providing a call to action at your press releases. You may have experiences amazing results from the previous submissions to travel news sites.
